Director of Operations

Escuela Adelante has an exciting opening on our leadership team! We are looking for a creative problem solver, who is enthusiastic about education equity and ready to hit the ground running. Our Director of Operations supervises teachers and curriculum implementation, serves as the primary point of contact for parents and teachers, and reports directly to the Executive Director. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children in southern Nicaragua, providing unprecedented levels of access to high quality education. The successful candidate will have previous experience in primary education, familiarity with cutting edge educational strategies and techniques, strong administrative and communications skills, a strong growth mindset, and will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Most important, the successful candidate will be able to work with a variety or colleagues and parents in our diverse school community, while maintaining a positive attitude that empowers staff and advances the school mission.
