We are looking for a qualified, experienced English Program Director for our August 2022 - July 2023 school year. We seek creative and competent applicants who would thrive in a bustling environment while managing the English teaching program for children ages 4-12, adolescents, and young adults. In addition to overseeing English classes, library programs, the small team of English teachers and Librarian, the English Program Director will organize and conduct special events and field trips.
We are looking for a English Program Director committed to our mission at Na'atik which is to create a multicultural hub for both local and international students to celebrate and inspire the teaching and learning of languages through authentic, cross-cultural experiences.
Through charitable donations and funding from our own language immersion program, Na'atik is able to provide an affordable English language program which includes a free, interactive lending library. This education gives young people in Felipe Carrillo Puerto the opportunity to achieve a higher living wage, improved career prospects, and exposure to other cultures. The English Program Director will also work closely with the communication and fundraising team to support fundraising efforts for the English language program.

Required Qualifications*:
Native English speaker or equivalent
Minimum of pre-intermediate communicative Spanish
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
A TEFL/CELTA/TESOL teaching certification
2 years of classroom teaching experience
1 year of people management experience
Adventurous and independent spirit
Experience organizing special events and field trips
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the developing world
Experience with development or non-profit work
Experience delivering CPD
IT literate with knowledge of Google Suite and Zoom
Experience in grant writing
