    Description

    Are you a passionate leader ready to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Employment Resources, Inc. (ERI), a thriving nonprofit organization, seeks an experienced, mission-driven Executive Director to lead our organization into its next phase of growth and innovation.

    As our new Executive Director, you will:

    • Lead strategic planning and program expansion initiatives
    • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that empowers staff and promotes professional growth
    • Collaborate with a diverse, engaged Board of Directors to drive organizational success
    • Represent ERI in public speaking engagements and advocacy efforts
    • Oversee financial management and explore innovative funding opportunities
    • Develop and implement performance measurement systems to evaluate and showcase our impact
    • Guide the organization's ongoing efforts to leverage technology and training to strengthen our services both in-house and in the broader field of employment services, employers and corporations

    The ideal candidate will bring:

    • Leadership experience in the nonprofit or corporate sector, with a passion for equity and inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce
    • Proven track record in strategic planning, program development, and staff mentorship
    • Experience in successful grant writing and diverse revenue development
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with community organizations and funders, as well as employers and corporations
    • A deep commitment to disability rights and empowering individuals with disabilities
    • Appreciation for the role of technology and professional development in advancing employment services

    This job is based in Madison, Wisconsin. The ERI Executive Director position requires in-person work as a key component to accomplish ERI’s mission and goals. This includes direct interaction with our partners and communities, as well as an onsite presence at ERI’s main office in Madison, Wisconsin. However, we understand the importance of flexibility and work-life balance, so there is the ability for some remote work, depending on project needs and individual circumstances.
