Performs bookkeeping and other financial management tasks such as maintaining general ledger, recording deposits, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions. Submits payroll information to Paychex and maintains payroll records. Maintain adequate internal control, and prepares monthly financial reports for Executive Director and Board. Assists in developing program and agency budgets.

Associate’s degree. Two years full-time experience in bookkeeping and related financial management tasks, preferably in a non-profit organization. Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is a must. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse staff. Verbal and written English fluency. Proficiency in Spanish desirable, but not required.
