HCBS Administrative Assistant

The qualified individual must have a Bachelor's degree in the health or human services field and some experience in an administrative capacity with responsibility for developing, maintaining and monitoring service delivery.


The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Director of the HCBS Waiver Program.


Duties:

Program Operations:

- Review/monitor utilization rates of Respite and Community Habilitation programs quarterly and provide quarterly updates to all clients registered for services

- Print and mail timesheets, datasheets and behavioral data sheets to all external workers.

- Monitor and update timesheets/datasheets for all clients on an as need basis

-Manage and process all enrollment, terminations, and changes to service being received by clients.

- Initiate new enrollment for Wavier services.

- Collect organize and track all incoming forms pertaining to client services (including, but not limited to, code of conduct, code of ethics, core competencies, memorandum of understanding) , HIPAAS and LOCS.

- Speak with regional OPWDD offices on an as needed basis regarding program- wide changes.


Support Roll-out of new software

-Provide input and / or direction relating to rollout of department software.

-Assist in development and / or modification of monitoring tools to: monitor program utilization; decrease risk of fraudulent behaviors; monitor HCBS coordinator performance


Essential Skills:

-Must be competent at using the entire suite of Microsoft office programs.

-Must be able to learn SKIP specific software (SKIP APPS, HCBS Organizer, Kid information).

-Must be able to work in cooperation with other departments as needed.

- Must have a professional level of communication and writing skills

Must have exceptional organizational skills.

-Must be able to solve problems as they arise.

-Must be able to work independently.

-Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
