Role Description: The candidate will assist the Senior Director of Operations in monitoring, controlling, and managing IsraAID US operations, compliance and finances. S/he will manage the day-to-day financial and operational tasks, ensuring all deliverables are on time and of high quality. This includes managing all accounting and banking functions for the organization, generation and tracking of budgets both for internal purposes and outside funders. S/he will have demonstrable prior experience in performing the following tasks:
Accounting and Finance
- Processing and tracking all forms of donations
- Management of account payables and receivables activities
- Monitoring and management of expenses within the established budget
- Monthly reconciliations on QuickBooks and other accounting platforms
- Optimization of financial processes
- Creation and management of monthly financial reporting and analysis of financial statements for internal and external reporting
- Coordination of annual financial audits and oversee all 990 reports with CPA
- Collaboration with the team to handle revenue for all development and program initiatives
- Development of financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency
- Working with an external CPA and other staff members in other IsraAID offices (US and IsraAID Global)
Procurement
- Vendor analysis, management, and maximization as per processes and bylaws
Compliance
- Registrations, filings, and annual reports in a timely manner
- Protocols and internal controls
- Insurance matters
- Contracts for various purposes
Work flow platforms
- Analysis, implementation, training and maintenance of work flow platforms
Miscellaneous tasks that come up with operations from time to time.

Qualifications:
BA or equivalent required; 3+ years of work experience in a professional setting; Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting and ERP platforms required; experience in operations strongly preferred; Excellent computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of fundraising databases preferred; Excellent organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner; Excellent interpersonal skills; Impeccable written English and grammar; Passion for humanitarian work.
