Movement for Justice in El Barrio (Movement) is an immigrant-led community organization fighting for housing and immigrant justice in East Harlem, New York City. Movement was founded to fight against a voracious trend towards gentrification that is devouring low-income housing and displacing immigrant & low-income families from their homes. Since then, Movement has also been fighting for immigrant justice.

Movement for Justice in El Barrio was named "Best Power to the People Movement in New York City" by the Village Voice.

Movement recently lauched the “Movimiento’s COVID-19 Emergency Response for Immigrants in El Barrio” program to address the devastating effects the COVID-19 health crisis is having on the immigrant community of El Barrio.

Movement for Justice in El Barrio is offering this opportunity to people committed to immigrant justice. The community organizer's activities will include providing mutual aid support and doing research.
