The Global Language Network (GLN) is a small not-for-profit that does a lot with a little. Our mission is to "use language as a tool to help fix our world" and we constantly strive to build a Network of Givers, for Givers, by Givers.
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who believes in the mission of the organization, would like to help GLN grow and expand, and is looking to grow both personally and professionally in the process.
The GLN Outreach / Marketing Coordinator is a newly-created role and will be primarily focused on one central purpose: increasing enrollment in our language classes. To some extent it will also include teacher recruitment and, when applicable, managing a small team of interns and volunteers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Note: we are a small, fast growing non-profit and we cannot offer a comprehensive benefits package at this time. We are however offering a generous 401k package with a sliding-scale employer match. Salary will be performance-based with the following calculation: the average student enrollment per semester at GLN is 700 and we have three full semesters. The Outreach Coordinator will receive a 40% commission of the $100 base revenue for each student he/she recruits beyond the 700 mark. For example, if the Outreach Coordinator helps GLN enroll 1,000 students in a semester instead of 700, he/she will earn $40 for each of the 300 students, equaling $12,000. If this small milestone is reached over three semesters, it will equal a $36,000 salary. GLN's current capacity is 2,000 to 2,500 students. If the Outreach Coordinator helps GLN recruit to the 2,000 or 2,500 student capacity for three semesters he/she could earn up to $156,000 and $216,000 per year, with a generous 401k employer contribution.
