Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, testicular cancer.


In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a passionate Campaign Support Staff to join our LA based team. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities and are committed to having a team that is made up of diverse skills, experiences, and abilities.


Reporting to the Senior Manager Operations and Community Engagement, you’ll be a key member of the Fundraising Team for the 2021 Movember campaign. You’ll be the front-line, answering emails, live chat inquiries, and phone calls from our supporters. You’ll be uniquely positioned to interact with hundreds and possibly thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sisters are across the US and globally. In this role you will need to have a positive attitude, a willingness to work hard, and fantastic customer service skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all telephone, live chat, and email inquiries in a fast and effective manner.
  • Process offline donations (cheque and EFT) in a fast and effective manner, with absolute accuracy.
  • Support the fundraising team on key supporter accounts.
  • Support the “thank you” communications plan post-campaign.
  • Handling adhoc request such as filing, mailing, and database management.
  • Support the marketing and communications team in identifying community fundraisers for potential media opportunities.
  • Identify any patterns or issues with the website and escalate these to be resolved.

 

For this role, you’ll need

  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Experience with a CRM database such as Salesforce
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft suite skills
  • The adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to accuracy and detail – the small things don’t get passed you
  • To work well under pressure and tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
  • To thrive in working as a team and believe in collaboration and supporting your colleagues.
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative


Bonus points for

  • Previous experience in fundraising or non-profit
  • Experience using a customer service email platform such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Desk.com, etc.
