The Executive Director will

  • Report to the CRIC Board of Directors
  • Lead continued efforts to transition from a working board to a staff-driven model
  • Work with the Board to establish long-range goals, set policies, raise funds, and manage budgets
  • Supervise employees and key volunteers
  • Plan and hire for case management expansion
  • Oversee all organizational activities consistent with CRIC's mission, values, and policies
  • Serve as CRIC's lead spokesperson
  • Work with the board to secure financial support for the organizations via donor development and grant fundraising

Qualifications:

  • Cultural competence with ability to demonstrate respect for cultural diversity in working with clients and to convey the importance of cultural awareness when training staff and volunteers, and in any communication about CRIC’s mission and services.
  • BS/BA preferred; non-profit or refugee advocacy experience preferred
  • Excellent and culturally-responsive communication skills with ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively to represent CRIC in social media, with reporters from news outlets, and with donors.
  • Experience serving as the lead spokesperson to advocate for agency goals and fundraising campaigns.
  • Experience with fundraising, including cultivating and communicating with donors, identifying grant funding opportunities, writing proposals, and following through with funders’ requirements for expenditures and reporting.
  • Experience supervising staff with ability to provide regular feedback on performance and to develop supervisees’ skills.
  • Experience with strategic planning or other types of organizational development activities, involving both staff and board members of a nonprofit organization.
  • Ability to make timely decisions that exhibit sound judgment.

Position must be located in Logan, Utah.
