DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Mandela Partners (MP) is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with local residents, family farmers, and community-based businesses to improve health, create wealth, and build assets through food enterprises in under-resourced communities. Our approach is based on a systems model that addresses issues of economic disinvestment, food insecurity, and health inequity, building on local assets to cultivate thriving communities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Development & Communications Coordinator is a newly created position. This individual will work closely with the Director of Fund Development & Innovation in coordinating activities to further Mandela Partners’ fundraising and communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s 2019-2021 Fund Development Plan. The Development & Communications Coordinator will be expected to be reliable, responsive to email, friendly, personable, and have experience working with people of color and different socioeconomic backgrounds.
The Development & Communications Coordinator is a self-motivated individual with strong writing and project management skills. The right candidate will be responsible for researching new funding opportunities, developing grant proposals, coordinating donor campaigns and cultivating donor stewardship, and supporting Mandela Partners' external communications.

This is a full-time exempt position, with an annual salary range between $50,000 - $55,000. Mandela Partners’ offers health, dental, and vision benefits, in addition to a 401K program once eligible.
