Esperanza is a community-based alternative-to-incarceration program working with young people who have cases in family and/or adult (Criminal/Supreme) court. We provide direct therapeutic services to youth and their families in their own homes and communities across the five boroughs of New York City. Building on our clients’ strengths, we help them work toward achieving their goals.

We are seeking dedicated therapists who will provide all aspects of client services. These services include, but are not limited to: assessments, intensive family and individual counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. Adolescent & Family Therapists work with Esperanza staff members and various outside agencies to ensure that clients are receiving the services they need including education, community-based services, public assistance, etc. Esperanza Services are provided in our clients’ homes and communities so an open-mind, flexible schedule (including extensive travel) and emergency on-call coverage are required.
