We are a seeking a Part-time Capital Campaign Coordinator to be responsible for planning, organizing and managing all aspects of JRC’s capital campaign including, stewardship of current and future donors.

Working collaboratively with the Executive Director, Lay Leaders and Clergy, the Capital Campaign Coordinator will be relied upon to develop and achieve campaign goals. They will possess professional demeanor, expertise in planning, facilitation, consensus building, problem solving, and proactive measures. They will also oversee donor management and communication. The successful candidate will be ready to hit the ground running with enthusiasm, fundraising expertise, superior organizational and communication skills, commitment to teamwork, analytical capabilities, and a talent to manage multiple projects at once.

Essential job functions are:

·        Provide support to leadership in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of all gift prospects.

·        Ensure solicitors are engaged in achieving fundraising goals.

·        Institute a system to create prospect strategies and opportunities for maximum engagement.

·        Train and support the leadership in understanding best practices in fundraising.

·        Work with lay leadership and staff to create fundraising materials.

·        Oversee the quality, integrity and accuracy of all donor data.

·        Maintain donor relations by ensuring accurate and timely handling, recording, receipting and acknowledgement of pledges and related data.

·        Supervise all fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events. Attend events, programs and services as appropriate.

·        Timely management of all administrative tasks related to the campaign.

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of fundraising experience.

·        Strong written and oral communication skills with a customer service orientation necessary.

·        Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously needed.

·        Experienced problem-solver, with proactive and positive attitude.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

·        Working knowledge of CRM and prospect management databases.

·        Live within the Chicagoland area
