The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. At the end of the initial two-year contractual period, there are good prospects for conversion of the contract from a fixed-term to an open-ended employment contract. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

 

As Expert Asset Management you will make an important contribution to Welthungerhilfe's asset management for the association and foundation based on the investment guidelines of Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e.V. - in particular taking into account asset preservation and compliance with sustainability standards.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Evaluation and comparison of investment alternatives, taking into account both economic and sustainability aspects
  • Asset transactions for the association and foundation - including clarification and assessment of tax issues, if necessary in exchange with asset managers and tax consultants
  • Communication with financial service providers
  • Asset controlling
  • Asset reporting

 

Your profile

 

  • A university or polytechnical degree in finance, or equivalent in-bank training
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in asset management - especially for non-profit organizations
  • Experience with transactions and German investment and taxation law
  • Authorization to trade in stocks and funds must be available
  • Very good knowledge of German
