The Opportunity.

The Trustees is seeking a Technical Digital Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the entire web presence of The Trustees as well as implementation of all emails and email marketing strategy. 

The Technical Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and will work closely with the Marketing & Communications team, as well as with the Membership and Development teams. This position is a full-time, exempt position and will be located at 200 High Street, 4th floor, Boston, MA, once our offices reopen (currently planned for late fall).   


In This Role You Will :

This position will provide technical support and solutions for digital marketing channels and email production for the Marketing team. 

  • Provide technical support for the Marketing team’s digital presence which includes a WordPress website, and HTML microsites. 
  • Provide technical support on an event management system using PHP and MySQL. 
  • Provide technical support for new Marketing ventures including bulk email software, mobile app and guidance during CRM implementation. 
  • Work closely with the Membership and Development teams to produce, send, and track emails and email campaigns.  
  • Work closely with the Membership and Development teams to create donation forms and landing pages to the corresponding email campaigns. 
  • Address user complaints and troubleshoot website technical issues reported by staff and users. 
  • Develop, test, and implement integrations with other web products and services. 
  • Perform monthly analytics reports, which include analyzing traffic trends to improve the overall usability of the website.  
  • Google AdWords campaign development, maintenance and tracking.   
  • Monitor, analyze, and report site and email performance.
