DESCRIPTION: The DC Rape Crisis Center-DCRCC is the oldest, and the first rape crisis center in the country

that is dedicated to creating a world free from violence. Beyond providing therapeutic support to survivors of

sexual assault, the DC Rape Crisis Center consciously works towards building a consent based culture. At the heart

of the DC Rape Crisis Center’s values is a deep understanding of intersectionality, equity and anti- oppression. The

DC Rape Crisis Center believes that all forms of oppression are connected, and that sexual violence, and racial

injustice is intrinsically linked. The DC Rape Crisis Center is looking to expand its team to include a Clinical Services Coordinator.

POSITION SUMMARY: The DC Rape Crisis Center seeks a Clinical Services Coordinator who will oversee, and coordinates daily operations, and activities of the Clinical Department including scheduling and facilitating intakes and assessments. This position will work closely with the Clinical Director in executing job duties, and responsibilities from an intersectional, and anti-oppression framework while upholding the values, and the mission of The DC Rape Crisis Center.

REPORTING/AUTHORITY: The Clinical Services Coordinator is supervised by the Clinical Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintains a caseload of crisis and individual counseling clients; and facilitate groups for survivors.

· Serve as a hotline advocate and provide backup when needed

· Serves as the internal and external point of contact for all inquiries related to Clinical services and Clinical department.

· Coordinates daily operations and activities of the Clinical Department including scheduling and facilitating intakes and assessments

· Create and develop schedules for varied aspects of Clinical services

· Create data driven reports to examine service delivery for quality assurance purposes.

· Responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships through community outreach activities; presentations to organizations that serve similar populations to ensure the community are aware of our services and treatment options.

· Influence the strategic direction of Clinical Services, to facilitate appropriate change, and improve processes to increase staff and site productivity

· Develop systems for effective service coordination including program development/implementation and program staffing/budget.

· Maintain operational policies and procedural manuals.

· Develop and facilitate trainings as requested for staff as well as external stakeholders.

· Ensure full compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Identify opportunities for quality improvement and initiate appropriate referrals.

· Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Master degree in Social Work or Counseling and LGSW/LGPC preferred

· Two (2) years of direct experience in the field; and Two (2) years intake or customer service experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience required

· Knowledge of sexual trauma and crisis intervention

· Knowledge of the community resources and how to access them.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; and strong organizational skills

· Demonstrates initiative and team orientated mentality

· Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.

· Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

· Ability to interact with people/groups of widely varying disciplines and backgrounds

· Ability to remain open and receptive to constructive feedback

· Computer literacy and experience with database management systems

· Demonstrated cultural competency in working with diverse populations.

· A deep commitment to social justice, and anti-oppression work.

· Flexibility to work outside of regular weekly schedule

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Salary commensurate with experience. DC Rape Crisis Center provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation, sick leave and parental leave, in addition to paid time off during agency’s winter break; flexible schedule; 403b, health insurance contribution and ongoing training.

HOURS: Position is full-time with one possible evening a week in addition to one Friday evening a month.
