Erie Family Health Center is looking for a strategic, focused and responsible leader like you to join our Development Team! The Individual Giving and Events Manager is responsible for building relationships with individual donors and prospects with the goal of maximizing financial support for Erie Family Health Center. 


  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward individuals and family foundations to donate annual unrestricted gifts as well as major and restricted gifts, capital contributions and planned gifts
  • Manage Erie’s Auxiliary Council and works with other volunteer leaders on fundraising initiatives
  • Oversee the Friends of Erie Evanston/Skokie, collaborates to support the Erie Lake County Advisory Council, and partner to advance the work of the Erie Family Health Foundation Board of Directors
  • Plan and manage fundraising events, including the annual Auxiliary Council event and the Annual Luncheon
  • Build and grow Erie’s individual giving program, from individual through major gifts, leveraging the resources and talents of the individual giving team in collaboration with the VP of Development


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of previous fundraising experience
  • Experience working with Raiser’s Edge database
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Ability to monitor and meet fundraising goals
  • Adept at building relationships; solid interpersonal skills
