Are you looking for a variety in your clinical work? Would you like to work on a small, dedicated team that makes a big impact in the community? Are you passionate about helping and supporting families in getting the behavioral health care they need? Do you want to work for an organization that promotes a healthy work-life balance? The Connections team is looking for a Behavioral Health Provider to fill a full time position on their Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Connections (CAYAC) team. Behavioral health providers are responsible for providing clinical assessments, brief therapy, care coordination, referrals to outside providers/agencies, and psychoeducation to families who call in seeking mental health and substance use services.

 Status

  •  40 hrs/wk

Education and Experience

·        Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral discipline

·        A minimum of one year clinical experience in a behavioral health setting post completion of Master’s program

·        Current Colorado license in a behavioral health profession and addiction counseling certification preferred

 Key Responsibilities

·     CAYAC helps families who don’t know where to turn or how to navigate behavioral health services in the community.

·     CAYAC provides interim support while families are getting connected with community providers and agencies.

·     CAYAC gives relief to parents who feel alone and overwhelmed.

·     CAYAC answers common questions from youth and parents regarding behavioral health diagnosis, navigating health care systems, insurance coverage, etc.

Benefits

The Health District offers benefits to eligible employees. Additional coverage for dependents of eligible employees may be purchased.

Health

Currently, we have 3 basic plan options available to our employees for medical coverage. 

Dental

The Health District has a mandatory group dental plan for eligible employees.

Vision

A vision plan is available to employees. The Health District does not contribute towards the monthly premium for this coverage.

Retirement

The Health District offers a 401a to eligible employees. The Health District contributes 5% and the employee is required to contribute 3%. There is also a voluntary 457 plan available for the employee to designate an amount that they wish to contribute subject to the annual maximum amount allowable.

Holidays

Currently, we have 9 paid holidays available to our employees along with 2 floating holidays.

Flexible paid time off

Time off with pay is available to eligible employees to use as they choose for vacation, sick leave, or other personal needs. Flex time is earned and varies depending upon the number of hours worked weekly and the number of service years.

Employees working 30 hours or more receive 100% coverage for their premiums. Premiums for regular part time employees (between 20 and 29 hours per week) will be prorated according to the number of hours worked.
