The Educational Video Center (www.evc.org) is seeking an exceptional full time mission-driven Archive Video Editor. EVC is a nonprofit youth media arts organization dedicated to teaching documentary video as a means to develop the artistic, critical literacy, and career skills of young people, while nurturing their idealism and commitment to social change.
For over three decades, EVC youth producers have produced award-winning short documentary films on social justice issues impacting them and their communities. Our archive of over 200 artful youth-produced films explore topics such as police brutality, healthcare inequity, environmental racism, unequal education, gentrification, mental health struggles, LGBTQ+ discrimination and more. This position reports to EVC’s Archive Distribution Manager and will be guided by EVC alumni advisory.

This is a one year full time position, with the possibility of part time work thereafter. The position will be compensated at a full time rate with benefits in the range of $40,000 - $50,000 commensurate with experience, and will be supervised by EVC’s Archive Distribution Manager. This position is eligible for vacation, sick days, and organizational holidays with health and dental insurance, commuter benefits, and more.
