Move For Hunger’s multifamily program is growing rapidly and we need an experienced sales professional to help us increase the number of property management companies joining our cause. With some of the nation’s leading property management companies already participating (Cortland, FPI, Trinity, Greystar), your role will quickly expand Move For Hunger’s network of 1,300+ communities (300k+ units) while growing relationships with the leading apartment associations in the space.

Move For Hunger provides an easy way for the multifamily industry to reduce food waste and fight hunger. The ideal candidate is a sales professional who has experience and relationships within the multifamily industry and a desire to give their skills a purpose. 

This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, build, and convert a pipeline of qualified leads to enrolled properties and portfolios
  • Quickly respond to inbound, unsolicited prospect calls/leads and convert them into enrolled properties and portfolios
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with property, regional managers, property owners management groups as well as industry associations
  • Organize and maintain all sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce to track progress against monthly and annual goals 
  • Drive results, focusing your energy on high return memberships and opportunities
  • Become a Move For Hunger expert and communicate our programs and value in ways that resonate with prospects
  • Represent Move For Hunger at regional and national industry conferences (when safe to do so) as well as in virtual gatherings
  • All other duties as assigned

Who are you?

  • 2+ years of sales experience with great industry contacts in multifamily
  • Born to network and negotiate. You possess the ability to interact and shoot straight with executives while building lasting relationships that create win-win partnerships.
  • A self-starter. You’re naturally ambitious and can see opportunities and run with them. You have no problem making cold-calls and can run a project from start to finish.
  • Personable. You know how to work a crowd and are always full of energy and passion for the cause. You’re great at getting to know the people behind the accounts.
  • Flexible. You’re comfortable with a number of evolving priorities and are open to new ideas when opportunities present themselves.
  • A hustler. There is no such thing as a crazy idea. You’re motivated to not only meet but exceed your goals and to grow Move For Hunger’s impact.
