The (Senior) Communications Coordinator is tasked with constructing media and communications strategies to bolster our advocacy work; managing and generating communications content to advance Regions Refocus’s programmes; overseeing communications systems of the organization. This entails devising fresh approaches to advance our programs through social media, events, press, videos, and web design (examples of our past work and current branding are hyperlinked). The content you will be working with pulls from regional work traditions like South feminism, heterodox economics, development economics, and more. You will collaborate closely with our allies across the global South and be supervised by the Director of Regions Refocus. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience. In addition to this, all full-time employees receive a health insurance allowance to purchase coverage independently, and an allowance in lieu of retirement contributions. Employees get ten days of sick leave per year and two days of accrued leave for every calendar month worked. Additionally, our office shuts down between 25 December and 2 January.
