The Barker Adoption Foundation, a non-profit adoption agency, is seeking a Community Outreach and Recruitment Specialist responsible for recruiting adoptive families for children with primary emphasis on identifying families for older children and children with specialized needs. Duties include planning and implementing an annual recruitment calendar, preparing recruitment materials, building and maintaining connections in the community, and collaboration with Barker’s digital marketing manager. Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field with a minimum of two years’ work experience in a professional setting post-graduation. Must be flexible, able to multi-task, and enjoy working in a diverse, results-oriented workplace where a premium is placed on teamwork. Must have flexibility to perform duties as needed after hours, or on weekends.
