Under the direction and collaboration of the VP of Wellness Center, the Clinical Director will provide clinical and administrative oversight of the 822 Outpatient Program. Overseeing daily operations. Supervising Associate Clinical Director of Hotel Wellness, staying informed and supporting team. Hotel resident needs/incidents with residents and supervising Wellness Clinical staff. Responsible for reviewing treatment plans, submitting reports, and maintaining/ensuring all OASAS 822 regulations are being adhered to by staff, interns and clients. Safeguard that the department is in compliance at all times. Meeting and supporting Physician and Nurse to reassure that they are compliant with their expected medical duties. Making certain that all billing is submitted daily and timely. Responsible for weekly, monthly staff supervision and training as needed for all staff. Reporting any and all issues immediately to supervisor and keeping VP of Wellness informed as needed and during supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures all clinical needs of the clients are met and that excellent clinical care is in line with 822 regulations and mandates.

· Clinical management of all Clinical staff, inclusive of time/attendance, weekly supervision, case conference, utilization review and weekly Wellness staff meetings.

· Responsible for ensuring that the Associate Director in Hotels is in compliance, using best practice and supported with information or resources whenever needed.

  • Facilitates case conference and group supervision weekly. Delegates whenever needed or necessary

· Communicate regularly with Nurse Practitioner and Doctor on client files and MAT compliance, staying tuned in with how they are doing and all activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of medical requires.

· Ensures OASAS 822 regulations are followed, all clinical staff trained and constantly aware of any changes.

· Implements continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensures the program utilizes established, effective interventions to achieve defined, meaningful clinical outcomes

  • Reviews and evaluates assessments, progress notes, individualized treatment plans for quality assurance.
  • Ensures that programmatic systems are in place to meet all client safety and service needs
  • In collaboration with the VP ensures that physical facility meets appropriate safety and aesthetic standards.

· Works closely with staff to ensure that all case management is up to date in 10e11 system and all staff trained - provide monthly or quarterly audits of charts/or random to ensure proper record keeping by staff.

· Provides staff assessment and evaluations as required/needed – which will include work performance regarding treatment plans, discharges, case management, group facilitation, technical knowledge, time/attendance, etc.

· Provide weekly staff meetings, individual and group supervision

· Assuring that services are provided in accordance with the established Standards of 822 as well as within the scope of practice of the organization Policy and Procedures

· Develop, implement, and maintain partnerships with other community providers for referrals

· Expeditiously discharge inactive clients in files and on OASAS reporting system.

· Provide emergency oversight during work hours and after hours depending on the matter, notify supervisor.

· Monthly reporting on OASAS Apps system

· Work closely/report KPI to help with ensuring Billing targets are normal, to avoid any funding or insurance issues (KPI’s agency designed performance to ensure maximum monthly revenue is being met).

· Other duties as determined by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

· LCSW or LMHC with six years working knowledge of Outpatient OASAS 822 Substance Use modality

· Minimum of four years’ experience as a supervisor/manager/administrator in an Outpatient 822 OASAS Certified facility

· Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach, motivate, manage, and develop staff

· High-performance in fast-pace environment.

· Create and achieve program objectives

· Knowledge of auditing practices for OASAS and Quality Assurance, including Medicaid

· Ability to oversee multiple programs and work effectively with a diverse population

· Great a relationship building with other departments and external agencies. Great motivational skills.

· Familiar with Compliance and Quality Improvement

· Friendly, caring, compassionate approach to issues, solutions, and people.

· Trauma Informed and solution based approach to all situations.

· Also willing to learn and flexible with the expansion of the department

· Bilingual preferred
