The Director, Advisory Services reports directly to the Senior Director, Thought Leadership and will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of technical assistance to employers and to strategic partners of Grads of Life, through which we seek to empower all employers to incorporate Opportunity Youth into their workforce.
In order to be successful in this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires you to juggle multiple large-scale projects at once while using quantitative and qualitative information to assess ROI and impact. Â You wonâ€™t shy away from reaching out to others, building relationships and effectively communicating the mission of the Influence team and the organization as a whole. Given the need to manage projects, youâ€™ll also be a veteran leader who holds yourself and others accountable to the highest of standards. Advisory & Design Consultative Delivery
â€¢Â Â Â Lead and manage Advisory Service client teams to diagnose, define, design, and support implementation of practice change engagements with Employers of Influence who are interested in building inclusive and equitable Opportunity Talent strategies and/or pipeline
â€¢Â Â Â Lead the facilitation of Advisory & Design working sessions and meetingsÂ
â€¢Â Â Â Keep abreast of market innovations and other players to inform product direction and potential collaboration opportunities
â€¢Â Â Â Drive completion of action items and the development of supporting documents/tools for engagements
â€¢Â Â Â Document learnings at each step of the process, contributing to "Innovation Team(?)" learnings
â€¢Â Â Â Support the measurement of interim results and long-term impact
â€¢Â Â Â Analyze financial and operational data; develop and deliver reports to internal and external stakeholders
â€¢Â Â Â Manage day-to-day client engagements with Employers of Influence, from initial sales conversations through implementation
â€¢Â Â Â Apply human-centered design and rapid prototyping principles to the creation of these products
â€¢Â Â Â Drive implementation of scoped work inclusive of tools and partnership coordination needed for employers to implement identified practice change solutions
â€¢Â Â Â Keep cross-functional sales teams (ex. Corporate Engagement, YUPRO, Managing Directors, Year Up Executives, etc.) informed of progress
â€¢Â Â Â Maintain Salesforce records of client outreach, contracts, and billing
â€¢Â Â Â Leverage consultative selling methodology to interpret client needsÂ
â€¢Â Â Â Explore employment pipeline problems using a combination of creative and analytic tools
â€¢Â Â Â Drive the scoping process for what Advisory & Design services Grads of Life can offer to address the identified challenges Create and test tools and templates for operationalizing and managing process implementation
â€¢Â Â Â Develop the financial model for delivering agreed upon services
â€¢Â Â Â Lead and manage members of the Advisory Services team
â€¢Â Â Â Develop and coach direct reports in maximizing their potential
â€¢Â Â Â Support functional integration and collaboration across growing team

â€¢Â Â Â Experience in market research, product strategy, and enterprise strategy a plus, particularly in workforce development
