SEO Career is the nation’s premier professional development program providing Black, Hispanic, and Native American undergrads with pre-internship development, training, and internship support across multiple lines of business. SEO Career currently partners with over 60 organizations offering summer internships and has a 35+ year track record of matching talent with opportunity. SEO Career accomplishes this through two stages of its program: SEO Edge and SEO Career Success. Participants receive the coaching and technical training needed to compete for paid internship opportunities with SEO partner organizations with the goal of landing a full-time job offer at the conclusion of the internship. The Manager of Program Operations & Blackboard System Administrator is responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating processes that allow our programs to function at the highest level. Through measuring outcomes, you will ensure SEO Career meets its targets for recruiting, engagement, placement, and performance effectively by managing systems and leveraging data analytics to inform decisions and to strategically take advantage of opportunities to improve.


Program Operations:

  • Serve as Administrator of Blackboard LMS, Genius SIS database, and related program delivery software 
  • Build course curriculum on Blackboard LMS platform, as designed by program team
  • Develop and maintain Genius dashboard reports to support programmatic decision-making
  • Other projects as assigned, including some administrative duties


Data Analytics:

  • Track, analyze, and report on data to inform programmatic and communication strategies
  • Review and update key metrics to support continuous improvement and growth for the program, i.e. attracting more candidates, delivering better programming, hosting engaging events, and delivering compelling results for partners
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes (recruiting, enrollment, pacing, performance)
  • Monitor and report on partner outcomes (requests, floats, offers)
  • Deliver timely reporting to executive team, Board of Directors, and other ad hoc requests      


  • College degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or related field; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of professional work experience executing and analyzing data
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Drive required
  • Blackboard LMS Administrator and/or Genius SIS database management experience preferred
  • Adept at learning and using technology, systems, processes, and project management tools
  • Expertise in scrubbing data, drawing meaningful insights to create strategy and narratives, influencing key partners, and operationalizing solutions
  • Proven ability to execute large-scale projects through collaboration and thought leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required, interpersonal skills a must
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and can-do attitude with changing priorities
  • Highly detail-oriented in approach to tasks, self-motivated to meet goals and deadlines
  • Must be solution-oriented and professional at all times with students, colleagues, clients, alumni, and senior staff members
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Ability to empathize with colleagues and individuals from a range of backgrounds and experiences
  • Passion for closing the opportunity gap for underserved and underrepresented students and young professionals
