    How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?

    The Manager, New Business Development will play a critical leadership role in the growth and diversification of EGPAF’s funding portfolio, supporting engagement with corporations working and supporting interests tied to EGPAF’s work. Areas of focus will include leading strategic engagement with corporate donors and corporate donor portfolio management and expansion, as well as identifying and pursuing resources to fund EGPAF’s technical priorities to secure restricted funding. The Manager will support new funding pipelines for the organization and will support efforts to expand EGPAF’s geographic and programmatic reach. This individual will be conversant in program efforts across the field of global health, with experience in key technical areas such as HIV/TB, integrated health services, digital health and/or other relevant subject areas.

    The Manager will work across global and country-based teams to translate complex technical subjects into funding concepts, pitch decks, and proposals. The Manager will track emerging corporate social responsibility efforts and investments in the field of global health and will have exceptional facilitation and writing skills. The Manager will supervise and regularly mentor junior staff on proposal development.

    No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect in this role?

    Global Revenue Diversification and Growth

    • Lead resource mobilization efforts for organization-wide technical priorities such as supporting the health of children and adolescents/youth, integrated services, digital health, and innovation including new product introduction.
    • Assess new markets for growth through corporate donor trends, landscape, and competitor analysis as required.
    • Identify funding opportunities and coordinate with technical teams to co-create pitch decks, concepts, and proposals.

    Portfolio Management and Donor Stewardship

    • Advance efforts to cultivate new and grow existing partnerships to support resource mobilization efforts.
    • Coordinate closely with EGPAF’s unrestricted gifts team on unified corporate donor pursuit strategies.
    • Support organization-wide efforts for coordination through regular meetings.

    Proposal Support

    • Lead end-to-end proposal development efforts across EGPAF’s diverse funding portfolio focusing primarily on corporate donors, with the possibility of including USG and other philanthropic donors during high volume periods and for strategic must-win opportunities.
    • Provide leadership on cross-departmental proposals with links back to EGPAF’s strategic priorities, emerging signature approaches, and long-term planning needs
    • Provide mentorship to New Business Development Officers in proposal management, writing, and facilitation.

    Country Level Strategy, Resource Mobilization, and Capacity Building

    • Support EGPAF’s country teams in resource mobilization planning and annual priority setting, landscape analysis, assessment of funding opportunities, capacity building for donor engagement, and proposal development either directly, or as a mentor to more junior staff.

    To be successful, you will have:

    • 8 years’ experience in relevant positions with increasing level of responsibility
    • Experience in proposal development, program design, and use of relevant organizational systems.
    • Technical knowledge of HIV/TB, SRH/FP, and related global health areas.
    • Strong facilitation and writing skills.
    • Proven ability to work effectively and multi-task as a member of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to travel 10-20%, as conditions allow.

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Master of Public Health or graduate degree in a related field preferred.

    Salary Range

    The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 – $50,000 annually in the Washington, DC Metro area. This position is non-exempt and paid hourly. For US-based remote staff, EGPAF uses geographical ranges that are based on the candidate’s location and the associated cost of labor.

    Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as qualifications, experience and training, education and certifications, internal equity, external market data, and budget.
