Job Developer / Case Manager

Under the supervision of the Programs Manager, the Job Developer/Case manager will be responsible for providing job development assistance and case management services to eligible program clients under the Matching Grant (MG) Program. The ideal candidate should have experience in this field and strong record of accomplishment conducting individual educational and career assessments and creating job placement plans for each referred participant.


Essential Functions:


Within a teamwork environment, the essential functions of the job include the following responsibilities:

Ø Must be bilingual: English/Spanish, English/Dari, or English/Pashto

Ø Screen and select qualified participants for enrollment into MG.

Ø Conduct intake, orientation, assessment and develop service plan of approximately 15 participants (including adults and minors) on a monthly basis.

Ø Enter participants’ information into MG database and update it as required.

Ø Maintain and complete files accurate for all participants including case notes for all case related activity.

Ø Prepare and submit request for financial assistance as allowed by the program.

Ø Maintain accurate records of all fund disbursements.

Ø Develop links with small business, private industry, economic development organizations, and professional business associations, One Stop/Work Source centers, and local ethnic businesses in order to build network for job placements.

Ø Set up job interviews and other work-related activities.

Ø Conduct weekly job readiness workshops with program participants.

Ø Assist participants with resume and interview preparation.

Ø Conduct home visits.

Ø Monitor each participant’s progress and completion of training.

Ø Work in collaboration with Program Manager to place participants into employment within 4 months of enrollment into MG.

Ø Work in collaboration with Program Manager to complete and submit monthly reports and invoices.

Ø Work in collaboration with Program Manager to conduct community outreach and public presentations to promote MG program.

Ø Follow funders’ rules and regulations related to the refugee programs.

Ø Perform other job related duties as assigned.
