Innovation Coordinator – Accelerator

Position Overview:

Commonwealth is seeking a full time Innovation Coordinator to join our Accelerator team. This position is currently funded through 9/30/22 with the possibility of being extended past this date. The Innovation Coordinator will support projects focused on business-to-business engagement and consumer research to improve financial security for people who are financially vulnerable in the U.S. The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to achieve goals and timelines, be flexible to address shifting project needs, execute research projects and craft persuasive verbal and written communications for several audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Support business development efforts with existing and potential private and public sector partners by identifying new potential partners, scheduling meetings, preparing supporting materials like agendas and slide decks, coordinating and participating in meetings, and preparing follow up from meetings.
• Prepare supporting material and update existing project outreach materials as needed.
• Support consumer and market research activities including research design, execution, analysis, and reporting .
• Employ strong interpersonal skills to support relationships with financial service providers, employers, community groups, vendors and other critical partners.
• Follow industry developments and study relevant consumer, industry and public policy issues.
• Creatively problem-solve and collaborate with a small, results-oriented team to achieve strategic objectives.
• Draft communications that describe the work to promote the dissemination of Commonwealth’s work.
• Contribute to a positive organizational culture through consistent high energy, appetite for learning, eagerness to support colleagues and engaged participation on project teams.
