Position Summary: 

The Recruiter will be responsible for supporting ongoing recruitment efforts for the organization. The Recruiter will work in partnership with hiring managers to independently manage full cycle requisitions including candidates screening and closing using best practices to fill open positions.  The Recruiter will drive planning and execution for filling key roles. The Recruiter will uplift and embody Tides core values - Respect, Accountability, Creativity, Equity and Empowerment -  in all areas of work, and engagement with team members and partners. 

In the past, Tides staff have worked predominantly from our offices in San Francisco and New York. Today, we are creating a new hybrid work model to support staff with remote work from anywhere in the United States, work from one of our offices when they formally re-open on September 7, or a combination of both. This is an exciting time to join Tides.

The Recruiter is a full time temporary position expected to last for a duration of 6 months. Exempt employees are expected to work the appropriate and necessary time in order to complete key assignments and related tasks on schedule. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Successfully partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand the business needs and develop creative strategies for engaging top of funnel talent
  • Source professionals and build healthy pipeline of qualified candidates across a variety of roles throughout Tides 
  • Manage a minimum of six requisitions at a time 
  • Conduct a high volume of weekly phone screens, vetting candidates for skills, mission alignment and overall profile fits for each role
  • Present candidate slate overview to hiring managers with a keen eye for the manager’s top needs 
  • Influence hiring manager, with tact and professionalism, To Tides and escalate the most qualified, diverse and high potential candidate slates 
  • Strategically plan and execute pipeline for hard to fill roles
  • Schedule interviews for hiring managers, hiring teams and leaders across Tides 
  • Work with the recruiting team to support candidate sourcing efforts


  • Minimum 3 years of full cycle recruitment experience 
  • Experience filling finance roles, ideally at all levels 
  • Experience filling roles across various departments, including but not limited to HR, Operations, Client Services and IT 
  • Experience running multiple candidate searches, at all levels, with a focus on diversity hiring
  • Experience facilitating job offer negotiations with final candidates 
  • Hands-on experience utilizing multiple diversity hiring resources (in job posts, sourcing, referrals and more)
  • Ability to rigorously prioritize, organize and multitask; simultaneously building and managing diverse candidate pipelines for multiple roles at varying stages in the process 
  • Successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency with ATS and other related platforms (ADP, WorkDay, Ceridian)
  • At least 1 year experience recruiting with LinkedIn Recruiter strongly preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to track sourcing metrics, draw insights, and translate into action.
