Fundraising Event Manager

SUMMARY: The Manager of Fundraising Events will support the Director of Development in the planning and execution of several fundraising events to achieve mission revenue goals. In addition to driving revenue results through events, the Manager of Fundraising will be responsible for social media efforts, and the creation of a biannual newsletter to share SJPC impact.

Saint Joseph Parenting Center’s (SJPC) mission is to strengthen families that are at risk of child abuse and neglect by providing parenting education and support.

Fundraising & Management:

1. Build the annual event strategy to achieve SJPC’s fundraising goals.

2. Create event plans and manage event budgets.

3. Oversees volunteer recruitment and board committee chair involvement.

4. Oversees attendee management and registration to include event communications, auction set up and attendee preparation.

5. Manages vendor RFP’s, negotiations and contracting for venues and services.

6. Builds logistic plans to ensure successful attendee experience.

7. Responsible for pre and post event surveys and other measurement tactics to ensure effectiveness.

8. Responsible for event production to include speakers, volunteers, digital, sound, and photography.

9. Drive sponsorships and donations in-kind for event services and auction items.

10. Plan in advance ensuring all contracts and statements of work are completed for every event to mitigate risk.

11. Works across all aspects of event planning and execution and across myriad of internal stakeholders, executive leadership and board, demonstrating command of situation even in most challenging of operating environments.

12. Promotes event through various marketing channels.

13. Tracks event details using FileMaker Pro and OneCause platforms.
