Manager, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

Partnership to End Addiction is looking for a motivated person to lead our data analytics processes in our national non-profit. The successful candidate will work across organizational departments to enhance our internal and external continuous quality improvement and outcomes monitoring goals to improve our services for families.


This position requires the ability to work with multiple products/projects/business units in parallel and balance multiple initiatives. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for how data can improve outcomes for those struggling with mental health or addiction issues.


Responsibilities:

·        Manage organizational DOMO dashboard and analytics processes

·        Manage information about the data definitions, schemas, & lineage across the organization

  • Conduct data validation and cleaning using various databases and/or within DOMO and help resolve any data quality or availability issues
  • Create clear, comprehensive data visualizations that can be understood and interpreted by naïve end users
  • Provide user access & privileges needed to push & pull data from the respective systems across departments
  • Collaborate on adhering to data security policies & best practices
  • Compile reporting inside and/or outside of DOMO
  • Serve as the liaison between the department leaders, department data managers, and DOMO developers

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of data systems
  • Familiarity with exporting complex data from multiple systems into business intelligence software
  • Expert proficiency in DOMO
  • Expert knowledge of SQL database management and coding
  • Some familiarity with statistics and data analysis software
  • Ability to identify root cause for data anomalies and data quality issues
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Ability to obtain data and information from disparate sources, link and analyze this information, perform data integrity checks, and conduct analysis
  • Ability to communicate with team members to achieve goals by boiling down complex data and topics into easily understandable solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field preferred, but individuals with significant experience without a college degree will be considered

Note: We are temporarily teleworking during the COVID-19 pandemic. When we return to in-office work, the Manager will work in our NYC office.
