Description

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who offers traits of compassion and curiosity above all else. Our model of "disruptive education" pulls best practices from around the world (including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf) to focus on child-led learning, and the Guide promotes a balanced culture with both a tough mind and a warm heart.

The Viva (4-6) Studio objective is to prepare learners for independent work in the Explorer (7-10) Studio. In the Viva Studio, children will learn to read and write, develop math foundations, and develop practical life knowledge and skills.

A formal background in education is not required. However, applicants who demonstrate a deep understanding of (and passion for) the Acton approach, as well as proven experience that will serve the Viva Studio culture and objective, will be prioritized.

Applicant must be a self-starter, able to think outside the box and implement. He/she must able to effectively collaborate with other guides and parents to achieve the best approach for children.

Most importantly, applicant must have a sincere & great love, respect and compassion for all types of children.
