  • Award winning Morris County non-profit organization seeks experienced non-profit executive/manager to coordinate and direct Professional Service programs for individuals with disabilities. This executive level position requires a working knowledge of:Vocational rehabilitation best practices
  • CARF accreditation
  • Familiarity with state referral sources including DVRS and DDD
  • Legislation impacting employment for people with disabilities including the ADA, WIOA, and the FLSA
  • Outcomes measurement and reporting
  • Grant writing and reporting
  • Case management and documentation of client services
  • Staff supervision

                                                                                            

Ideal candidate will have an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling or related degree and at least 5 years management experience in an organization that provides community-based and agency-based employment. Clinical certification or licensure (CRC, LRC, or LPC, etc.) preferred. Previous experience with Medicaid funded programs is a plus. Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent managerial and diplomacy skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability for some travel is required (local and occasionally for conferences). (travel subject to Covid-19)


General Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a program of grant writing and grant management to ensure funding for agency programs and objectives
  • Coordinate activities needed to obtain a three-year CARF accreditation for agency programs.
  • Ensure agency-wide compliance with DOL FLSA for payment of commensurate wages and oversee renewal for 14c certificate
  • Develop and prepare written reports, correspondence, program plans and budgets in conjunction with CEO and management team
  • Develop and oversee administration of surveys to measure satisfaction of program participants, families, referral sources, and employers
  • Oversee Outcomes Measurement System, compile annual summary, and develop recommendations
  • Oversee management of supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, transition, evaluation, and education departments
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, clients, industry, and community.
  • Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
