Position Summary

The Software Developer participates in all functions of technology applications development life cycles utilizing TNC’s basic project management disciplines.  They develop new technology systems and solutions according of system requirements following TNC methodology and development best practices. May be responsible for developing TNC Web pages. The Programmer II acts as a team member on technology application maintenance projects related to application upgrades, conversion and modifications. They act as a quality assurance analyst to conduct peer review and validate programmer analyst work done for minor systems before release to production in all phases of the project life cycle. Performs tasks assigned as required to complete project including design, development, running specific programs, generating reports and analyzing results.  They provide support for production problems as assigned.   

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field and 2 years’ progressive experience in an IT field or equivalent combination.
• Experience with full life-cycle technology application development.
• Proficiency with SQL, C# and .NET Core
• Experience with a modern Javascript framework such as Angular, Vue or React
• Understanding of Model, View Controller application architecture
• Experience in database modeling, object-oriented analysis and design techniques

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of Docker and architecture through virtualization and containers
• Understanding of Web Services and API’s
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud hosting
• Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.

• Ability to utilize knowledge to identify solutions, communication and influencing skills, specific managerial functions, etc.
