WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

This position will work with a Regional Director to grow a team that has helped grow ActBlue in the Democratic Politics and Elections space. You will manage Associate(s) that will continue to help grow and expand into specific federal and specialty or state and local campaigns and organizations, while providing effective support to organizations that are using the ActBlue product. 

This position is joining an expanded team within ActBlue designed to meet the unique opportunities we have within the Democratic space. This position will work with the Regional Director to help lead ActBlue’s strategy in an assigned political geographic area to continue expanding ActBlue’s reach and impact. 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work with the Regional Director to help develop an issue strategy that focuses on relationship building to increase the usage of ActBlue and impact programs strategically;   
  • Manage a team of Associate(s) toward success by holding individuals accountable to goals around relationship building, account management, and strategic account support;
  • Provide account management and strategic account support for a small portfolio of high priority accounts; 
  • Maintain up-to-date and deep knowledge of ActBlue’s product; 
  • Serve as a lead generator for the team and a connector for the staff to organizations;
  • Coordinate with other managers to grow account management and coordinate resource needs of programs; 
  • Collaborate with Democratic Politics and Elections peers on ways to grow account management and coordinate resource needs of programs; 
  • Determine turf and assignments along with Regional Director for either State and Local work or Federal and Specialty races and organizations; 
  • Monitor progress to goal metrics for assigned turf; 
  • Work with associates to develop goals and help impact races and organizations.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • At least 4 years of Democratic campaign and or program/project management experience; 
  • At least 2 years people management experience preferred; 
  • Experience managing a small team of staff in a fast paced environment;
  • Understanding of political structures and state landscapes; 
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships; 
  • Experience managing and implementing programs or campaigns, or experience being part of a team plan; 
  • Experience managing or working closely with fundraising and digital programs.

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION:

This is a fully remote position but needs to live in the Southern Region (AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA) which the role oversees. This posting is for a full-time, salaried position.
