Overview: Second Nature's mission includes acceleration of climate action “through” higher education. This means that by working with other sectors, higher education can bring its complementary strengths to help solve the global climate crisis. Through the America Is All In (AIAI) initiative, many sectors have joined together to align their climate action efforts. This Fellowship is an opportunity to contribute original research and real-world examples to more clearly articulate how this cross-sectoral approach to climate action can accelerate global progress.

A publication on the key elements of complementarity that can define the role of higher education and other sectors, in driving climate action.

One new programmatic activity linking the higher education sector with at least one other sector within the AIAI coalition.

  • Climate program development

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience producing independent research and publication
  • Knowledge or experience working with higher education institutions on climate programs
