The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and one of the most innovative and successful organizations of its kind – is seeking an Associate Executive Director in its South Florida Office - located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The Associate Executive Director will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in oversight of all aspects of chapter management including staff management and fundraising. Fundraising activities will include Special Events (Gala, Boca Great Strides), Major Gifts, Corporate Sponsorships, and Planned Giving.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of successful fundraising, with an ability to “raise the bar” annually, demonstrate excellent leadership and managerial skills, including volunteer recruitment and retention, board development. A minimum of 5-7 years of successful fundraising experience is a must. Previous P&L responsibility is preferred. The Associate Executive Director will oversee a full staff of professionals who are involved in special event fundraising activities, major gifts, planned giving initiatives, and volunteer recruitment/management.
