Monday-Friday - 35 hours flexible with local travel within Nassau County (Long Island, NY)
Ensures the medical care of people with developmental disabilities that reside in a group home setting. Provides direction to AMAP staff, completion of all regulatory reports and performs as a liaison between hospitals, clinics, and consultants to insure accurate coordination and delivery of services.
Must be a NYS licensed Registered Nurse; BS degree preferred. Licensure includes CPR training, child abuse and administering medication procedures. Six months of hospital experience and one year health care experience working with individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred.
