Description

Riverview Senior Independent Living is NYC’s newest premier community for active adults 62+ located in Midtown Manhattan. As a non-profit, Riverview provides comfortable studio and one-bedrooms, leisure recreation, and tailored concierge and hospitality services at an affordable price.

 

We are searching for an outgoing, bright and cheerful Senior Independent Living Outreach and Marking Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience, excellent customer service skills and have the ability and willingness to always be “on.” Will incorporate our non-profit mission by demonstrating a passion for improving the quality of life for older adults and have an interest in being present and active in the senior living community.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Outreach (Sales):

·        Responsible for overall sales of our new premier senior independent living community. This position will work closely with our marketing team at Central Office to meet sales targets.

·        Must have the ability to manage their time and host 3-5 tours a day.

·        Work with building management to ensure model rooms and common areas are in tip top condition.

·        Work with Central office and building administration to ensure the smoothest sales process is followed. This includes excellent providing an customer service experience from initial call to move-in.

·        Maintain an organized system that demonstrates sales numbers, referrals, and sources of sales.

·        Experience with Salesforce (or other database management system) to input sales data a plus.

·        Locates and develops community resources

·        Other duties as assigned by Director.

 

Marketing:

·        General website management - update events calendar, photos and happenings.

·        Update social media posts as necessary.

·        Generate and disseminate monthly newsletter.

·        Identify and cultivate relationships with neighborhood businesses and senior-related organizations.

·        Represent Riverview within senior community and professional associations.

·        Connect with and maintain Riverview professional relationships.

·        Other duties as assigned by Director.

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree preferred

·        2-5 years sales experience preferred

·        Some Internet/Social Medical experience preferred or have the willingness and capacity to learn.

·        Excellent customer service and administration skills.

·        Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with all levels of staff on site and at our Central Office.

·        Must be able to multi-task, coordinate scheduling, work the details and juggle multiple priorities.

·        Must be able to work a flexible schedule which will include some nights and weekends.
