Summary
Found in Translation is seeking an experienced grant writer to meet the organization’s foundation, corporate, and government grants annual revenue targets. Under the guidance of the Grants Manager, the Grant Writer will focus on proposal writing and research activities to generate grant funding from private, community, and family foundations as well as corporate and government grant funders. In a given year, grants are responsible for ~80% of our overall operating budget, which is approximately $1.3M and growing.
This is a contingent, W2 position estimated at up to 10 hours per week, with the possibility of future increased hours. Hours will be variable, dependent on Found in Translation’s grant pipeline and the Grant Writer’s availability. The work environment is a small, collaborative team that values a diversity of experience and background, and a strong commitment to racial and gender justice. The Grant Writer position is a remote role, reporting to the Grants Manager. Candidates must be based in Massachusetts, Missouri, Washington, D.C, New Jersey or Colorado.
