Position Overview: The New York School of Interior Design, an accredited, independent institution of higher education devoted entirely to the discipline of interior design and its related professions, has an opening for a part-time Raiser's Edge Specialist. The Raiser's Edge Specialist will be responsible for recording funds received, directing them to the appropriate accounts, and tracking fulfillment of pledges to facilitate the prompt acknowledgement and stewardship of donors. He/She will be responsible for data entry to create and maintain up-to-date records of alumni and other donors. The Specialist will also write and run queries and reports, handle mail merges and prepare donors lists for various events and publications including the “Honor Roll of Donors” report for publication and website.
- Provide overall Raiser’s Edge support
- Execute all functions related to data entry and donation management
- Process gift entry, research and processing, contact updates, pledge maintenance and report writing/running
- Prepare and send all gift acknowledgement and receipts
- Develop queries for mailings, events and fundraising activities; maintain key lists and rosters
- Oversee data hygiene
- Light office work and other duties as assigned
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of three years of Raiser’s Edge experience including experience running reports and queries in Raiser’s Edge, and previous event module experience. Competent with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to deliver strong attention to detail and proof reading skills. Demonstrated ability to work well with others and exercise judgment in handling confidential information. Experience working with Net Communities and Jenzabar a plus.
This is a part time position. 14 hours per week work schedule.
