PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of ADL’s No Place for Hate® positive school climate program in ADL’s Midwest region. Provide resources and support to a growing number of schools during their ongoing implementation and participation in No Place for Hate®.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary:

· Engage with participating Pre K-12 schools to ensure the successful implementation of No Place for Hate throughout ADL’s Midwest region.

· Set and meet annual reach and impact goals that are in line with ADL’s overall vision.

· Co-design and facilitate meetings, webinars and events for participating No Place for Hate schools as needed.

· Contribute to the preparation of regional grant proposals and write periodic reports for contributors.

· Work closely with the School Recruitment Specialist to cultivate and maintain community relationships to facilitate the expansion of No Place for Hate in the Midwest region.

· Work closely with the National Director of PreK-12 Programs to set and monitor the project budget for No Place for Hate in the Midwest regions and compile periodic reports.

Secondary:

· Serve as a Midwest regional school-based anti-bias/equity subject matter expert.

· Work closely with other regional Education staff to integrate ADL’s anti-bias training programs into the No Place for Hate framework as needed.

· Support regional fundraising events, and other ADL activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

· An innate desire to create more equitable schools so all students can thrive socially and academically.

· Knowledge of anti-bias and equity frameworks and pedagogies in the PreK-12 education market.

· Deep understanding of the PreK-12 education landscape and the challenges schools face in their school climate efforts.

· Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

· The instinct to say “yes” and the courage to say “no.”

· Strong computer, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Work Experience:

· Four or more years of education program management and work within or in partnership with schools at the local, district or state level.

· Experience with educational systems and education practices.

· Experience and comfort working with various learning management / e-learning systems (e.g., Canvas.

Education:

· B.A. in Education or related field or equivalent experience required.
