Job Title: Director, Program Compliance

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm

Duties/Responsibilities: This hands-on position reporting to the Vice President for Program Development & Evaluation has overall responsibility for assessing organization compliance with key programmatic contractual and regulatory requirements in order to ensure that BRC programs are providing high quality and safe client services. Specific responsibilities include:

• Assist senior management in developing a compliance risk assessment plan.
• Analyze and interpret contract and regulatory requirements and develop user-specific methods and guidelines to assess level of compliance.
• Perform site-based review to determine level of compliance with performance requirements, including service utilization.
• Provide support and assistance to internal performance improvement teams.
• Provide training and assistance to staff designed to improve adherence with requirements.
• Advise program management regarding areas of performance risk and recommend action to reduce organizational risk.
• Develop contract compliance tools.
• Track and analyze key contract and regulatory data, including overseeing the preparation of quarterly agency-wide incident analyses to identify trends and potential areas for further action.
• Conduct and/or coordinate incident investigations and other related activities.
• Supervise the Program Compliance Specialist position focused on Medicaid related requirements, and the Incident Reporting Specialist who coordinates the agency-wide critical incident review processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the area of compliance or quality assurance is required. Graduate degree in public administration, healthcare management, or other related field preferred.
• Experience with publicly funded health and human services organizations and knowledge of contract compliance essential.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel; a working knowledge of Access and statistical software packages such as SPSS or others is desirable.
