Our Research, Education, and Documentation (RED) funds contribute toward global efforts to educate the public and preserve the memory of the Holocaust through teacher training programs, exhibitions, and films such as Son of Saul, an Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Film. At the Claims Conference, we honor history while making history.

The Claims Conference is looking for a detail oriented Temporary Database Associate to join our Survivor Services team. We are looking for a diligent proactive team player who can assist us in the important work of finding contact information for survivors who are eligible for our services. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and capable of working independently. College students are welcome to apply!

Note: this is a full-time, temporary position that is expected to last three months but may be extended.


Responsibilities:

·      Search internal database, including scans, notes, and correspondence logs, to find contact information for survivors with whom we have lost contact;

·      Use internet searches to locate contact information;

·      Update database with new or corrected contact information;

·      General administrative and office work as needed.


Qualifications:

·      Detail oriented

·      Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

·      Advanced knowledge of internet research methods

·      Ability to work independently

·      Database experience a plus

·      Bilingual language skills a plus
