F Cancer Creative & Community Manager

Job Description  

The Creative & Community Manager (CCM) is responsible for community management and creative direction of F Cancer. You will help create and execute digital initiatives, lead graphic design, and manage social media channels. F Cancer is a small team, which means the CCM has lots of flexibility to test new approaches and expand in unconventional ways. This position is full-time. Responsibilities

Social Media

• Help develop and execute digital campaigns to cultivate community, drive donations, and communicate health messaging with a focus on impact.
• Help develop and execute marketing strategies, including developing project milestones, content calendars, and project estimates.
• Implement and execute various growth strategies across all social channels.
• Manage social channels, including responding to the community, tracking and reporting community happenings, assessing new engagement opportunities and reporting on analytics.

Design

• Create and design various materials and content for print, social, and digital media. 
• Execute creative direction for the company following brand guidelines.
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.

Skills 

• At least 2-3 years experience managing social media platforms in either brand or agency capacity with a compelling portfolio and ability to authentically increase reach and engagement.
• Knowledge of one or more graphic design programs (i.e. Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign) with ability to create cohesive and exciting digital content and organizational resources.
• Experience in creating digital campaigns that educate and drive impact.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage a project while juggling multiple tasks.
• Passionate, disruptive, out of the box thinker ready to make a difference in the cancer space.
• Works well remotely, since we are (at minimum) a partially-remote organization.
• Skills preferred (not required) include basic photography/videography skills, experience in building partnerships with influencers, and SEO, PPC, and Facebook/Instagram ad experience.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is based on qualifications and experience.

• Stipends for tech and health insurance expenses for full time employees
• 2 weeks paid vacation that grows with tenure and paid holidays (including birthdays and the week between Christmas and New Years)
• Completely remote working environment during COVID-19 and 2 days/week remote post-COVID-19.
