City on a Hill graduates college-ready students that are responsible, resourceful and respectful democratic citizens, who are prepared to compete in 21st century community, culture and commerce. City on a Hill opened its doors in 1995 in the Huntington Ave YMCA. Our current location is on Circuit Street in Roxbury, MA. We invite you to join our nationally recognized team of innovative and collegial educators who are fully committed to a culturally diverse faculty and student body.
As a member of the City on a Hill Charter Public School Leadership Team, the Director of Professional Development & Compliance will work closely with other administrators to ensure our teachers and staff receive targeted professional development to strengthen our capacity to support students, and ensure our programs are compliant with applicable state and federal requirements. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and will work closely with the Chief of School and Principal.

City on a Hill is a charter public high school in Boston, dedicated to improving urban education and getting all of its graduates into and through college. As one of the original fourteen charter public schools in the Commonwealth, City on a Hill school has college-prep standards within a rigorous curriculum.
