The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, the region's largest grantmaker and permanent charitable endowment, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Manager of Community Philanthropy. The Community Foundation’s mission is to inspire, support, inform, listen to and collaborate with the people and organizations in Greater New Haven to build an ever more connected, inclusive, equitable and philanthropic community.
In 2021, The Foundation launched Stepping Forward, a three-year supplemental funding commitment of $26 million to address the widespread immediate community needs caused by COVID-19 and to advance equity in Greater New Haven.

POSITION:
The Manager of Community Philanthropy is responsible for assisting in the design, management and implementation of the strategy to increase the diversity of donors and prospects within the comprehensive and ongoing development program of The Community Foundation.
The Manager is a dynamic and collaborative professional who possesses organization, communication, fund development, and volunteer management skills. The successful candidate has a proven track record of accomplishment with a combination of sales and relationship development, customer service, outreach, and stewardship experience. The candidate works collaboratively to execute The Foundation’s strategic plan and to achieve The Foundation’s mission.
