Social Work Supervisor

Hudson Guild and Hartley House are partnered together to provide services on the West side of Manhattan. We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and conscientious Social Work Supervisor to provide a full range of comprehensive services for older adults in our HOPE Program. This Supervisor is part of our management team and responsible for developing and implementing services for just over 75 older adults. The Supervisor will lead a team of staff including social workers, case managers, interns and volunteers. Our approach is holistic, creative and flexible. We pride ourselves on being able to help improve the quality of life for our clients. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MSW, general knowledge of public benefits and entitlements, 2 years of supervision experience, and 2 years of experience with the aging population

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Bi-lingual (Spanish/English); 1 year of supervision and admin experience a plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, train and evaluate staff, interns and volunteers
• Develop and supervise the implementation of treatment plans
• Design and implement group programming based on needs of clients
• Manage case conferences and high risk client lists
• Provide crisis intervention
• Provide caregiver support
• Responsible for coordination of protective measures such as Adult Protective Services (APS)
• Oversee eligibility screening
• Oversee formal money management of clients
• Provide information, coordination and referral services to clients
