·      Assisting Fellows with pre-departure preparation, including working closely with partners to secure visas.

·      Researching, evaluating and recommending potential new PiA partnerships and locations, in line with PiA’s strategic plan and vision.

·      Maintaining databases of Fellows, applicants and partner institutions in Asia.

·      Assisting the Executive Director with administrative activities.

·      Potential to support board committee work to address organizational initiatives and priorities, such as health, safety and welfare, and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Applicants should therefore have the following qualifications, skills, background and characteristics:

·      Passion for the mission and values of Princeton in Asia.

·      Demonstrated interest and experience in cross-cultural education and in Asia, preferably including 1-2 years of work and travel in Asia. Ideally this stint will have been on PiA or a similar program.

·      Commitment to making PiA a more diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist organization; sensitivity to the needs of a Fellow class that is diverse with regard to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or identity, and ability.

·      Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to craft eloquent, effective and appropriate correspondence to multiple stakeholder groups quickly and under pressure and the ability to present in front of large groups.

·      Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups with a wide array of backgrounds, identities, life experiences and communication styles.

·      Poised, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness and stamina to work in a small team environment and execute a variety of tasks.

·      Ability to execute a high volume of administrative tasks, while also working towards longer-term projects and strategic goals; ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.

·      Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

·      Humility, a sense of humor and an ability to adapt to different cultural norms.
