CHILDREN’S OUTREACH DIRECTOR:
Growing, faith-filled and progressive congregation is seeking 5-hour per week position.
Children’s Outreach Director will join the St. John’s United Church staff. This person will help share the good news of God’s love with children and their families.
Experience working with children in school or church setting required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and administer weekly Sunday School for pre-school thru 5th grade.
Recruit, train and work with volunteer teachers.
Work with pastor to choose appropriate curricula.
Participate in weekly worship service, and in monthly staff meeting.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
An articulate faith in God.
Understanding of child development.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to assess needs and produce results.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Starting at $20 per hour, dependent on experience.

When small groups meet in-person, it is with social distance measures, or with masks required.
